People work harder when they are appreciated. Just a simple thank you or a pat on a back will do. You can even write thank you notes when you’ve seen them do something worth noting or is always on their toes or someone who keeps solving problems and runs the operations smoothly.

Talk to them. Spend quality time with them. Understand what they want to do with their lives. Understand their strengths and weaknesses. Maybe you can mix some job responsibilites to see where good and weak at. Just give them and area to grow.

Let’s admit, you can’t do it all yourself. Delegating is always a part of a growing team. When you delegate, it encourages your team to grow because you’re giving them more responsibilities.
