A survey to almost 600 pharmacists on issues about compensation, job satisfaction, in general. Two thirds responded that they were really happy with their compensation, but when it comes to how satisfied they are with their jobs, the positive responses dropped to half. Why are they not happy with their jobs? The reasons include management problems, workload and work-life balance.

Well, what is the cost to a company that does not have a structured training system? (We've all seen it.) In pharmacies, if you don’t do a GREAT job of training new Pharmacists, Pharmacy Techs or Customer Service Specialists, you are literally throwing the “lambs to the lions” starting on their first day. Since your front line creates your bottom line this is not a very profitable strategy. You are losing money.
